So replying to myself I can say that all tests pass now. I had to
create a link to the data folder that's within the sources. I
misunderstood the wiki in that regard. I thought I had to create a link
to the data directory specified by -DWITH_DATADIR=/path/to/data, so the
folder that is created after installing.
